Who: Aimed at all youth workers who work directly with young people in their settings.

Purpose: To share challenges, explore solutions, network with new people and partners, and engage in professional dialogue to support personal development.

To strengthen connections across organisations.

YouthBorders is passionate about championing and advocating for young people and with the UNCRC now written into Scots Law we ensure youth voices are heard through all of our projects.

Ambassadors

Our Ambassadors

YouthBorders has two UNCRC ambassadors; Jamie Bowers-Clark and Christie McAlpine.

Jamie and Christie run a bi-annual UNCRC Roundtable Network to ensure staff are fully aware of UNCRC legislation and how to build this into policy and organisational culture at a day to day and strategic level. The network links closely to the Scottish Borders Council Promise, GIRFEC and UNCRC Multi-agency groups.
