Youth-LAG

Grants for young people by young people.

Who We Are

The YLAG is a group of young people, aged 16-30 who live across the Scottish borders. The Youth-LAG was set up to distribute ‘Community led local decision making’ funds but has since developed into a safe space of young people to learn future skills and give a platform for youth voice.

The YLAG Group meets fortnightly in Gala (travel subsided), working on different projects including LifeSkills (finance, social media) and designing/administrating grants to benefit young people. As part of the YLAG group, there is also opportunity to meet other YLAG groups across Scotland  (networking and skill sharing) as well as residentials.
